PATTERN & SUPPLIES: Strawberry Pin Cushion
A supply kit for the Strawberry Pin cushion with a simple pattern and instructions included. These come together so fast and since revisiting this pattern I've made them for all my close friends. They are so fun to make, it's hard to stop at one. I hope this project will compel you to tackle the whole set of patterns!
what's included:
- 1 piece of hand dyed 100% wool felt in Red/Pink
- 1 piece of head dyed 100% wool felt in Green
- Embroidery Floss in 2 colors
- Bag of Sand
- Cotton Stuffing
- Pattern and pithy Instructions
This is not the full list of items you'll need to make the Strawberry but many others are easily found around the house, at your local craft, or hardware stores but in addition to those listed above... you'll also need a sewing needle, button/craft thread, and sewing scissors.
*NOTES: The Pithy Pattern and instructions included are clear but fairly short. They're best for people with some sewing skills. If you'd like more detailed instructions including photos and videos- use the THREE PIN CUSHION PATTERN PDF. I used & supplied cotton stuffing in this kit in place of excelsior in this Kit. It's easier to work with and ship in this tiny amount. For this project it works just as well as the excelsior which is recommended in the PDF Pattern.
