Some things are easy to find- some require a little more searching. With that in mind I've made this supply kit for the Strawberry Pin cushion from the THREE PIN CUSHIONS PDF. These come together so fast and since revisiting this pattern I've made them for all my close friends. They are so fun to make, it's hard to stop at one. I hope this project will compel you to tackle the whole set of patterns!
what's included:
- 1 piece of hand dyed 100% wool felt in Red/Pink
- 1 piece of head dyed 100% wool felt in Green
- Embroidery Floss in 2 colors
- Bag of Sand
- Cotton Stuffing

This is not the full list of items you'll need to make the Strawberry from the THREE PIN CUSHIONS PDF PATTERN. Many others are easily found around the house, at your local craft, or hardware stores but in addition to those listed above... you'll also need a sewing needle, button/craft thread, and sewing scissors.
*NOTES on slight DEVIATION from PDF PATTERN: I used cotton stuffing in this kit in place of excelsior. It's easier to work with and ship in this tiny amount and for this project it works just as well as the excelsior which is recommended in the PDF Pattern. Additionally I used the same Button and Craft thread to sew the "cap" on the strawberry as I used to sew the strawberry closed rather than the green embroidery floss.
