This 5" tall elephant can be machine or hand sewn. He’s a perfect project for someone new to sewing mohair toys or the experienced maker looking for a new pattern.

Materials: not included with pattern (*optional):

• 12”x12” piece of mohair- 1/4” fur or shorter
• fabric marker or pencil
  
• fabric scissors- large and small
• various sewing needles
• large doll making needle*
• all purpose thread matching your mohair
• button and craft thread matching your mohair
• sewing machine, size 14 or 16 needle*
• pins
• one pair of 3mm black beads
• straight hemostats 5" or 6"
• perle #8 floss in black*
• excelsior, cotton, wool, kapok and/or fiberfil stuffing
• a scrap of 100% wool felt and small pom pom
• ribbon
