Today, I worked on a visual story for the Permanent Collection of mohair teddy bears. The concept required a classic approach—something to elevate the sculptural forms of these very special mohair bears and frame their time-less-ness, existing almost outside of time itself.

My foundation is in art school, where I majored in photography. The alchemy of those early days in the black-and-white darkroom has never left me; I will always hold a deep affection for the raw honesty of a contact sheet. Captured quickly and left largely unedited, these portraits bring me entirely back to that early magic.
