There are some projects that forever remain on my to-do list. The ones I want to get to, but that keep getting pushed down in favor of more pressing things. Making new patterns, specifically the Polka Dot Club Rabbit and clothing of all (ANY!) sorts, are something I've long wanted to share. There comes a point when I can't stand the carried-over to-do any longer... and finally we've reached that point. The patterns became a priority this past month, and I've been hard at work.
Pattern-making seems like it would be simple and easy to whip up, but these took me a ridiculous amount of time. I edited, re-edited, and refined again. I made more photos, another video, and tried to explain things in a new way... I'm now happy with how these very human-made patterns have turned out, and I firmly believe they're ready for your time, care, and all the joy you'll have in making.
LET'S GET TO IT. Which pattern is right for you?
If you're just learning to sew, have a tween who loves craft projects, or are just wanting MORE in your PDC wardrobe: The 3 SIMPLE GARMENTS in two sizes are the perfect place to start.

Knitters... now I'm looking at you. How many of us have so many small balls of gorgeous yarn we can't bear to get rid of, but what project could possibly be small enough?! These very fun patterns whip up in the duration of your fav new episode (full hour or 2 half hour shows to be clear), while the cake is in the oven, sitting by the fire (no timer in this scene)- you feel me. FOUR KNITS in two sizes: These are FUN.

And last, but we know not even remotely the least... the Polka Dot Club Medium Rabbit. The PDC crew just doesn't feel the same without the Rabbits in stock each season. I've missed them and I know you have too. I will continue to make a few of these beauties for the shop in heavy wool coating, but I want them in the world more than that... so here's the pattern for you to make YOUR RABBIT.
Come see them all in the Pattern Shop.
